We help you prepare for life after birth

Preparing for Postpartum

Postpartum is a huge transition—physically, emotionally, and mentally. It comes with challenges, unknowns, and the need for support, yet it’s often left to chance. The truth is, how we recover, adjust, and are cared for in those early weeks can shape our entire experience as new parents.

Our course, Preparing for Postpartum, is designed to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported as you navigate this time. We’ll explore the many different threads of postpartum, from recovery and emotional well-being to relationships, baby bonding, and support systems, to help you create a plan that truly nurtures you in the weeks and months after birth.

Having been through birth and 1.5 years of postpartum with my first born, I didn’t expect this course was aimed at me or would affect my upcoming postpartum experience much. I was very wrong. The course helped me see that the experience of good and bad I had been through can be both enhanced and improved.

This course helped me to enter my second postpartum period with a plan of predetermined intentions and practicalities that smoothed the journey ahead. The first 6 weeks have so far been a very different and overall more wholesome experience. I’m so glad I went along to this session and only wish this had been available to me before my first child was born.

Mira

I attended the introductory session of Preparing for Postpartum a few months prior to the birth of our second little one. Hana and Sophie created a magical space to explore the depths of the postpartum journey using both personal stories and evidence based research.

I found this course validated feelings from my previous postpartum experience and gave me tips for new ways to ease the load in the upcoming period. I imagine both new parents and those who have been on the postpartum adventure before will all get something to take away in their parenting toolbox from this course.
